This book played the role of textbook for an introductory atmospheric science survey class, and it served its purpose well. Although initially 'dry', the material does become more interesting as the reader progresses through the various chapters. Much is described via scientific terminology and inserted graphics: synoptics, dynamics, radiative transfer, cloud categorization and formation, and more. Basic algebra, geometry, and elementary calculus with a bit of vector analysis is also used throughout the book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
