Guillermo Arriaga es un escritor mexicano que ha alcanzado la fama mundial como guionista de la película Amores perros, de gran éxito internacional, y de las películas 21 Gramos, Las tres muertes de Melquiades Estrada, y Babel. Arriaga es también el autor de las novelas: El Búfalo de la noche y Escuadrón guillotina.
Reyna Grande is an award-winning novelist and memoirist. She has received an American Book Award, the El Premio Aztlán Literary Award, and the Latino Book Award. Her second novel, Dancing with Butterflies, received critical acclaim. In 2012, she was a finalist for the prestigious National Book Critics Circle Awards for her memoir The Distance Between Us. Her works have been published internationally in countries such as Norway and South Korea.
Laura Esquivel was born in Mexico City in 1950. Her first novel, Like Water for Chocolate, has sold more than four and a half million copies around the world and remained on the New York Times bestseller list for more than a year. She currently lives in Mexico.
Javier Valdés trabajó como dentista durante muchos años y escribía cuentos mientras esperaba que la anestesia le hiciera efecto a sus pacientes. Desde entonces, Valdés ha publicado dos novelas, Asesino en serio y Días de cementerio. Vive con su familia en Ciudad de México.
