Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Suzanna E. Henshon
Have you ever wondered what it's like to have superhuman powers? To be able to save lives with the flick of a finger? Flash is determined to save Central City from the deadly fires that threaten lives and property. What could be more dangerous than an out-of-control fire in a metropolis area? But Flash discovers that his superpowers aren't enough to save his reputation. Even after he saves the lives of countless people, he is accused of setting the original fire. Flash knows this evil work could only be the design of Professor Zoom, who has become a "double" of Flash. Can Flash stop Professor Zoom from these evil activities? Or will Central City burn to the ground? Young readers will enjoy this lively and original superhero, whose powers will enchant comic book readers of all ages. Flash is a memorable, fun character to read about, a comic hero who might someday take his place with the legendary Superman and Spiderman. Reviewer: Suzanna E. Henshon, Ph.D.
