Atticus Clothing is a company started by two of the guys from Blink-182 and they sponsor lots of bands and "extreme" athletes. This compilation of 24 different bands is somewhat of a soundtrack to their company. The acts on here are really not too bad, with everything from the hardcore stylings of American Nightmare to the screamy punk of Finch to everyone's favorite indie rock/mainstream band, Jimmy Eat World, and the Chicago punk stylings of Alkaline Trio. Most people will no doubt recognize almost all of these acts and the best part is that the large majority of them perform previously unreleased material. There are a lot of people who would buy this for an unreleased Blink-182 song alone, but throw in unreleased tracks from Rival Schools, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, A New Found Glory, and Glassjaw and teenagers all over the country will no doubt be buying this up and singing along in no time. Like many of the bands on here, this compilation is no doubt bound for success.

    this cd rocks!!! except....

i love most of the bands on here! but i wish they would give simple plan more credit! its not all mark hoppus who is in the "i do anything" song, he just guest sings in it. don't get me wrong blink is my fav. band but i just thought i'd tell every one it was simple plan who does that song. oh and i never heard of madclap until this cd and they really rock, they sound alot like rancid, so go get there cd!

    Almost Total Sweetness

I Thought this was an awesome cd, although there were a few songs i wasn't thrilled with which was that song by Rival Schools, that am/pm song, and that song by GlassJaw~they were just screamy weird songs...total chaos...Bsides that, I really like the cd, my fav's are the Alkaline Trio song and especially the Finch song, the sugarcult and midtowns songs were really good too i thought. i really liked that blink song, and the nfg song too~the madcap songs pretty cool too...well..basically i love the rest of the songs...so, go get it..i got mine at hot topic tho.....! And MJ..u stole my name by the way..lol~but, the whole Mala being compared to Pinkerton is way off i think..what are you smokin?! That is your opinion tho..but....pleeeze! Mala. has a 80's rock kinda sound..and pinkerton..is..well~almost grungy/punk.... I used to love the weez alot~all their albums are good, blue, pinkerton, even green and maladroit too! lol. I like pete yorn.he's kinda mellow indie tho.Radio Holiday a local Flint, Michigan band is sweet too! There are a ton more.=D~~~~ohh..Punk is your friend is a good cd..i think by Epitaph..and the Warped Tour Cd's, and Kung Fu records, and Drive Thru records are awesome too!

    Rock On...

Okay, so I think I was expecting a little more from this. Overall, the best song, besides the new one by Blink, is ''Friday Nite'' by Slick Shoes. I have heard a few of these artists before, of course, who hasn't heard of Newfound Glory and Jimmy Eat World? My personal opinion, it is an excellent album, but I could use a little less screaming and a little more guitar. :)
