ATTILA: Attila A barbarian's Bedtime Story

Attila the Hun's destructive and creative power resurfaces in his reincarnation as a little boy from a little country who grows into an American scientist whose inner demons and ancestral past propel him to create America's first doomsday device in space. The visionary novel, first published in 1994, predicted 911 – and more – before 1994, including the exact manner the World Trade Center collapsed in 2001: "And sparks will rain crystal, shooting off brilliant colors in helically twisted beams until the last pillar of the Twin Towers atomized into flakes and snowed onto... the... firmament."
