Attila the Hun By Sean Stewart Price In the biography about Attila the Hun By (Sean Stewart Price) the author tells you about the life of the savage warrior named Attila. In this wonderful story you get to learn about how his life was around him. I guess the message the author is trying to tell you is that thought times seem hard never give. I believe this because thru out Attila's life he faces many problems but somehow always overcomes them. The story begins by telling you where Attila (406AD-453AD) was born. He and his brother where raised by his uncles (which where kings of a savage Asian tribe known as the Huns). His parent's died when Attila was very young. As the story goes on the author tells you about Attila's enemies. Most of the enemies Attila had where roman. Back in the time of Attila the Huns and the Romans where in an all out war. During this war one of the two uncles had died do to being betrayed by his armies. After some time the Romans went into a civil war (West vs. East). During this time many treaties where made. The Hun's took advantage of this opportunity to attack the Roman Empire. After many lost the east roman empire decided to pay the Huns to only attack the west side, but the west side also made a treaty it involved keeping Attila as a hostage. The treaty couldn't hurt Attila unless the treaty was broken. They sent many hostages. People said that all but Attila had adapted to a roman life style. During that time Attila decide to study the roman weaknesses (he found many). As time went on Attila's other uncle died. Attila and his brother where left to rule the Huns. Attila had attacked many small villages and after time he had taken over a huge part of Europe and Asia. After his army grew to more than 20,000 men Attila decide to attack Rome. As many of his attacks succeeded he was one of the most powerful men the world had ever known. Thru out the war Attila got married many times and on his last wedding day he mistiriously died. I liked this book a lot due to all its action and mystery it had on it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about ancient history
