Facing Life - Like A Cowboy
This is a set of audio messages that are designed to help people get through those times of trouble that we all face.

They were delivered by Pastor Hank Wilson on a radio program called the Cowboy Gospel Hour, which ran every Sunday morning July 2005 until 2012 and that still runs as a podcast.

Over the past 30 years he's been blessed to get to spend the majority of my time around the world of rodeo where Hes gotten to know folks ranging in age from youth who are just starting out to guys and gals who have rodeod for more than 50 years.
Hes met world champions, working cowboys and cowgirls who work full time during the week so they can rodeo on the weekends and, in that time, Hes also gotten to know some who have had their careers and sometimes lives cut short by injury or death. Hes known and still knows people who were hard living, hard drinking people who woke up one morning worshiping at the porcelain alter and decided enough was enough and turned to God.
Hes known and knows people who were so depressed that the only solution they could envision was suicide, Hes known and knows people who were so addicted to drugs and alcohol and were down so low they needed a ladder to see the edge of the curb and Hes known and knows people who were either abused or abusive and couldnt figure out any way to break the cycle.
Eventually some of these folks turned to the Church, opened the Bible, found to the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and found the light they were looking for.
These are messages of hope, of love and most importantly they are based on the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And in this my first effort at putting them down on paper, they deal with the issues that each and every one of us have faced or may face, we take a look at dealing with Fear, Frustration, Rejection, Depression, Overcoming Obstacles of Life.
The solutions are ones that have been found that have helped me and the people I know. Being a Christian or living as a Christian is a choice, you are free to reject the teachings of Jesus if you so desire, its your life and you alone will have to answer for your choices. The messages he delivers are intended to help folks understand that the Gospel of Jesus is indeed a living Gospel and it is as appropriate for us today as it was when it was first taught 2,000 years ago.
