Overview

The centre of Australia is flat, red and hot but it offers some of the most amazing travel experiences that anyone could have. Here is sacred Uluru, and mystical Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), both huge sandstone massifs with spiritual links to the local Aboriginal people. The scenery is spectacular, the local people unique and the food very different - try kangaroo, camel and bush tucker. Called the Red Centre, it is steeped in history yet part of a modern Australia. Here you can taste it, smell it and experience a completely different travel destination.

This is the story of the author and his partner's travels in the centre of Australia. It covers all the main attractions around Alice Springs and also decribes the Ghan train trip from Alice Springs to Adelaide. The descriptions are simple and informative. It isn't a guidebook and it not having a Table of Content didn't worry me.

No reviews, poor presentation and a 7 page sample that gives no information about the book. With this sort of presentation and with poor reviews that this author has on all his other books, how could I ever buy this? At least it should provide a table of contents. Looks like a scam.
