Meet the Author

Jim Bennett was hooked on artifact collecting the moment he found his first arrowhead. While walking across a cornfield while out hunting one day, he stopped to tie a bootlace, and there it was - just sitting there, waiting to be found. From that very moment began his quest for knowledge and a deeper understanding of ancient man and the tools they left behind. Jim is from rural Ashland County, Ohio and enjoys living in the heart of Ohio s Amish county with Lisa, his wife and their four children.

This book is very informative on how to identify authentic, altered, and reproduced artifacts. However, I wish it had gone into more detail and included more pictures for comparison. Although, still a very valuable guide that anyone who collects artifacts will find useful.
