    How fun

Reading his own words, written for his son, it is getting to know him as an acquaintance. I've never been one for autobiography reading, I don't wish to read how someone views himself but this is the opposite. He goes to length to tell his story and how not great he was. Fun to see him walking the streets of Philly with a loaf of bread under each arm, gnawing on another, filthy clothes and smelling of days at sea.

If you want a further glimpse into the man...do it.
