The new enhanced edition also includes sheet music to Winston's original song "Longing/Love." For those new to the Winston experience, Autumn was Winston's 1980 breakthrough album that earned him international notoriety and enabled him to...

Chiefly influenced by the Doors' first album in 1967, Autumn features the captivating ten-minute-plus opening track "Colors/Dance," which begins as a multifaceted musical impression of the yellow cottonwoods of Miles City and Billings, MT, where the pianist grew up. The other thematically based tracks include "Woods," "Road," "Moon," "Sea," and "Stars." The album has sold over half a million units.

    I Also Recommend:

    An Essential Winston CD

Along with "December," George Winston's "Autumn" CD is solo piano at its finest. The moving and emotional melodies will linger in your memory long after you listen. Every track is exquisite and expertly played. It is a classic in the truest sense of the word.
