    Love This Series!

I first came across The Last Airbender cartoons in January of 2010. I remember I was flipping channels and stopped on Nickelodeon because there was a bald kid running around manipulating the elements, and it peaked my interest. I only planned to watch a little bit, but a few hours and episodes later, I was hooked. Of course, I came into the re-runs of the third book, fire, so I was completely lost, but Netflix comes is very handy for a crisis like that. And, Netflix was running them through instant play, no less, so I had instant gratification and watched the entire series in a few weeks. Imagine my surprise, and excitement, when I found out there was a movie coming out by my favorite director, M. Night Shyamalan! Of course, I HAD to go see it, and I tried to buy up all the comics, but Barnes and Nobel was all out, so reading the comics never did happen, but oh well, I saw the cartoon series and the first movie (which I did love-acting abilities aside, the effects made it worth it, in my opinion), and I was in heaven.

The other day I came across The Last Airbender: The Lost Adventures on Netgalley, via Dark Horse Comics, and instantly requested it because, though I'm not really a comic book person, I had originally wanted the comics for the series, and this comic book has bonus materials! Of course, I highly enjoyed it; the adventures are funny/interesting and gave me a new perspective, making me want to watch the entire series/movie all over again (and I probably will soon). I really did enjoy this comic book, and recommend it to all fans of The Last Airbender, but be forewarned, if you haven't seen/read the series in its entirety, some of this comic book won't make sense, since it jumps around from place to place, adventure to adventure.

    I dont have it yet

Even though I dont have I am talking about when I got hooked I was tring to find something to watch and I stopped because I saw action. Ilove action so I got hooked. It was funny it had action it was amazing and itwas like I couldnt take my eyes off the screen! Im just saying all in all if you dont warch it you need to start. Exept the Legends of Kora is too serious they need to put more humor in it and its hard to understand. I mean why she always so serious now when she was little than she was kind of funny she said" IM THEavatar and you have to deal with it" and started bending three elements.

    Great

I remember coming across Avatar. I adored it and when the series was over I started to brake down crying so now I have probably watched every episode 5 times but I am looking for some episodes.

    It Really Deserves 3.5 stars

The stories are pretty good, but they are short. If you are okay with that; then you will enjoy the book.

    I Also Recommend:

    Awesome, but not fantastic.

I really enjoyed this Avatar book! It's a collection of many comics, new and old. Some are from things like magazines and other older editions, but many are new. It was wonderful to read through the first time, and I still will go back and read a comic now and then, but it's not something I pay too much attention to anymore. It looks great on my shelf (which I'm fine with, I love to have anything Avatar!) and it's not hardcover but it is nice and shiny and sturdy!

One thing that threw we off was a lot of the inconsistent artwork. Many different artists worked on this book, so some of the art is great, while some is not so great.

Also, make sure that you know and understand the whole series, because the adventures jump and skip around (though the comics are split into Book One, Two, and Three, and then there's a little section in the back with two extra comics that don't really go into any specific Book).

Overall I really recommend this to any Avatar fan, young or old, male or female!
