Publishers Weekly - PWStaff Reviewer
On PROXIES: "an unusual combo of cyberpunk, hard-SF and techno-thriller that's distinguished by brisk pacing, creative world building and deft handling of characters."
Booklist - BLStaff Reviewer
On BURNING THE ICE (Starred Review): "What with first contact, internal conflict, and a violent clash between colonizing clones and their progenitors...in the midst of what is quite a ride, Mixon places vital and intense characters. Splendidly realized."
Kirkus - KStaff Reviewer
On BURNING THE ICE (Starred Review): "Tense, complex, and spellbinding."
