    Wish there was a sequel!

This book grabbed my attention immediately. The first chapter hooks you and the rest of the story continues to reel you in. It's a fast read because you simply can't put this one down until you reach the end. I admit I felt a little squeamish at times because of the delicate subject matter (a child's disappearance) but I strongly urge readers to stick with the story even when it gets a little uncomfortable. It gets better, I promise! This story twists and turns and then twists again, hitting you with an unexpected ending that you never saw coming. My only regret about this book is that I would have liked it to be twice as long because it's over far too quickly. I also wish the author had worked in a sequel. If you like thrills and suspense, you MUST read Avenging Annabelle!

    A fast-paced thriller

How far would you go to protect the ones you love? For Jim Fraser, the line between right and wrong disappears when he seeks to solve his daughter's disappearance and have his vengeance on the one responsible.

A Canadian logger shares an exceptionally close bond with his daughter Annabelle after spending several years caring for her while recovering from a life-threatening logging accident.

When Annabelle disappears, Jim is devastated. Despite an extensive search, there is no trace of Annabelle and Jim fears the worst. His fears are confirmed when Annabelle appears to him in his dreams and starts showing him things...things he doesn't want to see but needs to know if he is ever going to solve the mystery of her disappearance.

Time is running out because the next victim has already been chosen - Annabelle's best friend Amy. Annabelle begs her father to keep Amy safe, and Jim knows that he must act immediately.

Set in the scenic Vancouver Island community of Honeymoon Bay, British Columbia, Avenging Annnabelle is a fast-paced thriller with a distinct Canadian flavor.
