AWAKE, MY SOUL is a verse-by-verse devotional book based on the Apostle Paul's New Testament letter to the Colossians. While the 95 verses are treated separately, care is taken to interpret Paul's thoughts within the context of the surrounding passage. Additionally, seven summary meditations are provided throughout the book to keep the context in mind.
Before writing these meditations, the author memorized Colossians and spent more than half a lifetime teaching, preaching, and meditating on this book.
