I'd say the 2015 Award-Winning Quilts Calendar is one of the best quilt calendars I've ever had. I'm a sometime quilter so I have a moderate interest in the technical aspects of quilting, but I have a greater aesthetic interest. The beauty of the designs, the colors, and overall effect of these quilts is amazing, even if you don't care about the size of the stitches or the precision of the piecework. It's going to be a source of great enjoyment all year!

This calendar is pure eye candy. One quilt is more beautiful than the next. Each month you will be inspired to create the best quilt that you can. These are truly the best of the best awad-winners.

The quilts featured in the 2011 Award Winning Quilts are very detailed and unusual. Most are what I think of as Art Quilts and they show such things as a butterfly with autumn leaves, a girl running, a Christmas Night scene and a bridge with autumn foliage. The size, name of the quilt maker and which award it won plus a two to three paragraph blurb about each quilt can be found on the first two pages of this calendar. Thereafter, each month shows one of the quilts in a full page on the top and a full page for the calendar on the bottom. The dates are in the middle of each square so you have to write around the number if you want to use it as a place to keep track of your family's activities.
