What good is running AWAY when you only end up lost?

Cassandra Pierce had her whole "perfect" life planned out by her parents. One night of pure weakness and lust has her running away from it all and seeking refuge in Alamosa with her best friend. But it seems life has other plans for her when she finds herself lost in the small town of Keaton.

Jason Bradley is a charming country guy. He lives a simple life that’s nothing like what Cassandra is used to. A single moment in life changed everything he thought he once knew, leaving him with a broken heart and an unplanned future.

What happens in Keaton is nothing Cassandra or her heart could have ever prepared for. The instant connection she shares with Jason is no secret, but what they're keeping hidden from one another is. Will these two be able to find a way to trust each other or will their secrets tear them apart?

    * I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. *This book should be more than 5 stars, but that is the only option that I have to give it. It is so very seldom that I find a book that captures my attention, makes me think, has me crying and leaves me feeling like I lost my best friend. I am talking big ugly, almost sobbing tears as I struggle to see the words on my kindle because they are falling and my vision is blurry tears. Very seldom in my life has a book torn me apart like this one. The relationships, the hurt, the pain, the anguish, but also the joy, the love, the friendship and the acceptance. Pretty much everything about this book and story will leave you wanting more while at the same time being so mad about it all.
I devoured this book in a couple of hours, all while thinking that I am going to stop after the next chapter, and then the next and then the next. The characters are amazing and are so well developed that you are sure that you know everything about them. The story just had a flow that made you want to keep reading and put off everything else that you had to do. Cassandra had been dealt an awful hand with her parents expecting her to live up to their ideals and perfection. I loved when she was finally able to speak up to her parents when the time presented itself. She evolved and found her backbone at just the right times. It just goes to show you that family has nothing to do with DNA. You can't choose your family, but you can make one that loves you! Her family was in Keaton, the last place she ever imagined (especially since she was there by accident, literally by accident). My heart broke for everything she lost. I cried right along with her and maybe for her. Jason (Jase) was also dealt a rough hand, however, you never know that he was dealt this hand since it was kept a secret most of the book. He made me want to dance in the middle of the street, have a picnic, play Scrabble and just be, to just live in the moment. This was an awesome message that I took from the book. A big thank you to the author for opening my eyes and teaching me to live in the moment and that worrying won’t change the outcome of anything in life, but to live it fully so that you have the memories for later. Another message is to be thankful for everyday that you have with those that you love!
I never saw the turn the book took and was shocked, dismayed and saddened, but never once thought to stop reading. Away really blew me away. I know that this is a fictional story and I had to keep telling myself that when I was bawling my eyes out, and I also had to continually remind myself that the characters were not real, or anyone that I know. It just felt so real and that I was a part of it. What an amazing story! This has to be added to your TBR list and read soon, as it has become my favorite book so far this year. I hope to see a second story that continues with Cassie and her baby as well as Mel, Moose, Tricia, Bart and Dan. What an amazing story, it is also one of those that you are going to want to re-read just to make sure that you got it all. Enjoy and make sure that you have lots of tissues with you when you read it.

    5 Emotional Stars!!!
It took me a while to write this review. So let me start by saying that this story really did a number on me and I had to gather myself together before I could write this. Away really blew me away. I know that this is a fictional story and I had to keep telling myself that when I was bawling my eyes out. Tissue after Tissue and page after page, I was so drawn into the story. I was on an emotional ride and my GPS never warned me about what was ahead as I read this wonderful story.  At one time in the story I wanted to run away myself, but the story was SO good that I just couldn’t. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend that you add Away to your TBR list. This is an AWESOME story and I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for my honest review.
I enjoyed the characters so much. You have Cassandra/Cassie who is just a sweetheart and she finds herself in a situation that she thinks only her bff Melanie can help her figure out. Then you have the Hot cowboy Jason/Jase that is just a sweet country boy that you will fall head over heels in love with. I didn’t even know that I liked cowboys until Jase. He made me want to go and buy me some cowgirl boots. I know Right??? Melanie and Moose are the friends that everyone wants in their corner and Trish and Bart are Jason’s parents that everyone would love to have as parents or in-laws.
This story took me on a journey that I never saw coming. I was laughing, screaming, crying and saying WTH. I never expected this story to affect me the way that it did or to take the path that it did. This book went above and beyond my expectations. I didn’t want this story to end, but I couldn’t read it fast enough to find out what happens in the end. This will definitely be a re-read. It was just that freaking AWESOME!!!
Warning: Be prepared to be Swept Away!!!
While writing this review I learned that this is B. A. Wolfe’s debut book. All I can say is WOW!!! B. A. Wolfe, you have some serious talent here. Keep up the AWESOME writing. You have a big fan here that will read whatever you put out there. I can’t wait for the next book to see where this story goes.
Congrats B. A. Wolfe on your debut book Away and Thanks for blowing me away with this story!!!!

Away...Let's talk Away...what to say about Away. I wasn't able to form words or thoughts outside of profanity last night, so I figure it's morning and with a fresh head I could give it a Green light.

Away is written in a way that brings the characters into your life and brings you into their world. You experience what they experience. You enjoy what they enjoy. You smile with them, you laugh with them, you cry with them, but most of all, you grow to love them. You're gutted, you're raw, your emotions are handed to you and you have no other choice but to sit there, take it and keep turning the pages furiously waiting to find out the outcome.

I loved/hated this book. Get your tissues ready because you're going to need them, but you aren't going to want to miss one of the best reads of 2013. I can't say more than that and still have you go into this blind, so I won't, but I Green Light Jase forever. A piece of my soul is Away somewhere with him.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I give this book 5 stars.
I would def give it more if I could.
That being said this is Jase and Cassie's story.

I just idk. WORDS? I have none. This book blew me away. And I thought about it for so long HOW am I going to leave a review?? Yeah it is one of those books.

Cassandra has problems and she decides she needs her bff to get through what she is going through. So she decides to jump in her car with her GPS in hand and go and visit her at another college. She for sure gets lost because who can rely on a GPS (don't we know it) and has a tire blow out and hits a tree.

Jason is there to save the day. And comes to her rescue and he is a beautiful, sexy unbelieveable amazing guy. He stays by her side and makes sure that she is ok. Then he comes back and makes sure she has somewhere to stay and insists that she stay with him and his family.

Through out the whole book, Cassie learns what a family is really about, she learns that love can come any many shapes and forms, like through a town, through friends, and most of all through family, Jase shows her what life is really about and gives her a new meaning on it.
He shows her how to relax and enjoy life as it comes, and that each day should count.

These two have secrets tho. Both of them and when they are revealed will it tear the perfect picture they have of themselves apart?

ALL I have to say is WOW I never saw any of this coming and when it did it hit me like a mac truck!!! YOU have to read this book!!! IT is in my top for the year !!!

I can't say too much because it will give it away. And we don't want that at all. . But if you are going to give any book a chance I am telling you to do it with this one. It has carved a place in my heart for sure, I will not be forgetting it any time soon.

Jase is just a phenomenal guy and who could not fall in love with him? It would be hard to spend time with that man every day and not tell him a hundred times how great and magnificent he is.

Cassie is so much more then what she seems to be in the beginning she just needed someone like Jase to bring out the wonderful in her. And boy does he!!

This book will leave you breathless....

I found myself reading faster and faster just so i could get to the next part! AND I could feel it in my chest and it gave me tingles. YES it did actually give me tingles!!! OH MY FEELS!!! I just kept trying to finish and when it did, i was so upset that the story was over. I COULD NOT put this book down!!!

Thank you for this amazing, beautiful book.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read!!!!!! <3

Cassandra Pierce has a perfect life planned out for her - by her

Cassandra Pierce has a perfect life planned out for her - by her parents. But her perfect life has just got worse and the only thing she does is run to her best mate Melanie who in college hours and hours away.

Cassandra isn't very good with directions even with a gps. she ends up in the opposite direction going through a small town when she ends up having a blow out in her car and going into a tree.

Jason Bradley has watched everything that happened and goes to help. He become her hero in more than one way..

Wow, Wow, Wow I loved this story. I loved everything about it. I loved Cassandras transformation when she's not with her parents. I loved Jason- girls there's a new book boyfriend on the block. Jason is a true gent. He looks after her from day one. I love the way they both have secrets and they have to trust in order to explain. But is it with devastating effects.

I think this quote fits perfectly-

"It was as though his key found the perfect lock to fit into, filling every bit of me as though we were made for each other"

This book is stunning, it compels you to read from the first page. I couldn't put it down. It is an amazingly, Fantastic Read.

This is an amazing debut book by Barbara Wolfe. She is the Author to watch out for in the future.

Barbara thank you for a Fantastic read. This book is Amazing.

This gets 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.
