Cassandra Pierce had her whole "perfect" life planned out by her parents. One night of pure weakness and lust has her running away from it all and seeking refuge in Alamosa with her best friend. But it seems life has other plans for her when she finds herself lost in the small town of Keaton.

Jason Bradley is a charming country guy. He lives a simple life that's nothing like what Cassandra is used to. A single moment in life changed everything he thought he once knew, leaving him with a broken heart and an unplanned future.

What happens in Keaton is nothing Cassandra or her heart could have ever prepared for. The instant connection she shares with Jason is no secret, but what they're keeping hidden from one another is. Will these two be able to find a way to trust each other or will their secrets tear them apart?

5 Emotional Stars!!! It took me a while to write this review. So let me start by saying that this story really did a number on me and I had to gather myself together before I could write this. Away really blew me away. I know that this is a fictional story and I had to keep telling myself that when I was bawling my eyes out. Tissue after Tissue and page after page, I was so drawn into the story. I was on an emotional ride and my GPS never warned me about what was ahead as I read this wonderful story.  At one time in the story I wanted to run away myself, but the story was SO good that I just couldn’t. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend that you add Away to your TBR list. This is an AWESOME story and I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for my honest review.  I enjoyed the characters so much. You have Cassandra/Cassie who is just a sweetheart and she finds herself in a situation that she thinks only her bff Melanie can help her figure out. Then you have the Hot cowboy Jason/Jase that is just a sweet country boy that you will fall head over heels in love with. I didn’t even know that I liked cowboys until Jase. He made me want to go and buy me some cowgirl boots. I know Right??? Melanie and Moose are the friends that everyone wants in their corner and Trish and Bart are Jason’s parents that everyone would love to have as parents or in-laws.  This story took me on a journey that I never saw coming. I was laughing, screaming, crying and saying WTH. I never expected this story to affect me the way that it did or to take the path that it did. This book went above and beyond my expectations. I didn’t want this story to end, but I couldn’t read it fast enough to find out what happens in the end. This will definitely be a re-read. It was just that freaking AWESOME!!!  Warning: Be prepared to be Swept Away!!! While writing this review I learned that this is B. A. Wolfe’s debut book. All I can say is WOW!!! B. A. Wolfe, you have some serious talent here. Keep up the AWESOME writing. You have a big fan here that will read whatever you put out there. I can’t wait for the next book to see where this story goes. Congrats B. A. Wolfe on your debut book Away and Thanks for blowing me away with this story!!!!

* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. *This book should be more than 5 stars, but that is the only option that I have to give it. It is so very seldom that I find a book that captures my attention, makes me think, has me crying and leaves me feeling like I lost my best friend. I am talking big ugly, almost sobbing tears as I struggle to see the words on my kindle because they are falling and my vision is blurry tears. Very seldom in my life has a book torn me apart like this one. The relationships, the hurt, the pain, the anguish, but also the joy, the love, the friendship and the acceptance. Pretty much everything about this book and story will leave you wanting more while at the same time being so mad about it all. I devoured this book in a couple of hours, all while thinking that I am going to stop after the next chapter, and then the next and then the next. The characters are amazing and are so well developed that you are sure that you know everything about them. The story just had a flow that made you want to keep reading and put off everything else that you had to do. Cassandra had been dealt an awful hand with her parents expecting her to live up to their ideals and perfection. I loved when she was finally able to speak up to her parents when the time presented itself. She evolved and found her backbone at just the right times. It just goes to show you that family has nothing to do with DNA. You can't choose your family, but you can make one that loves you! Her family was in Keaton, the last place she ever imagined (especially since she was there by accident, literally by accident). My heart broke for everything she lost. I cried right along with her and maybe for her. Jason (Jase) was also dealt a rough hand, however, you never know that he was dealt this hand since it was kept a secret most of the book. He made me want to dance in the middle of the street, have a picnic, play Scrabble and just be, to just live in the moment. This was an awesome message that I took from the book. A big thank you to the author for opening my eyes and teaching me to live in the moment and that worrying won’t change the outcome of anything in life, but to live it fully so that you have the memories for later. Another message is to be thankful for everyday that you have with those that you love! I never saw the turn the book took and was shocked, dismayed and saddened, but never once thought to stop reading. Away really blew me away. I know that this is a fictional story and I had to keep telling myself that when I was bawling my eyes out, and I also had to continually remind myself that the characters were not real, or anyone that I know. It just felt so real and that I was a part of it. What an amazing story! This has to be added to your TBR list and read soon, as it has become my favorite book so far this year. I hope to see a second story that continues with Cassie and her baby as well as Mel, Moose, Tricia, Bart and Dan. What an amazing story, it is also one of those that you are going to want to re-read just to make sure that you got it all. Enjoy and make sure that you have lots of tissues with you when you read it.  ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. ***

I cried so much I'm not sure I have tears left for Jase and Cassie. I should have seen the9 ending coming, but I was wrapped up in their happliy ever after moment. I loved everything about all the characters, except the brother, his story of why he no longer dealt with the family seem trite. I love Jase whole outlook on life, how he brought smiles to everyone face, his since of humor, and his willpower and seat for life. I do wonder though what was in that drawer Sweetheart?

WOW – Amazing Book!! Grab your tissues for this one. I have not cried that much from a book in a really long time. My daughter was worried about me and said to me, "mom, it is just a book." I told her, "it was not just a book, it was an amazing book that had me into these characters that the author made me cry. That is when you know you have a good book and that the author did a great job in writing it." Way to go B.A. Wolfe!!!! You really had me into the characters. You will laugh and cry, you will experience the love, excitement, joys and pains as you just get lost in the book. You will just want to be in the moment with the characters and get swept away with them. I could not put the book down and as soon as I was done, I had to get the second book Stay. B.A.Wolfe – Thank you for this story, for a good cry and I am a fan!!!!

It all started so insipid, then as you keep reading you wonder if something is not quite right. Then the final secret unveiled. I am not ashamed to admit I still have tears in my eyes. I just don't like being brought to a high, then the fall that didn't stop.

I really enjoyed this book from front cover to back. So much in fact, that I went on to purchase the other 2 books in the series and finish them both in just a few days time!! This story is a definite emotional roller coaster but I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new series to get into.

Excellent story on so many different levels. Be sure to have a box of tissues by your side as the writer's style had this reader feeling that she was right there watching everything unfold.

Wonderful story, but absolutely a tear jerker.

This was a beautiful story. Very emotional story about a young woman who has a very dictated life by completely unemotional robots as parents. Her parents were truly snobbish, stuck up and basically horrible people. Heading to be with her best friend Mel, who is an awesome character in this story, she crashes into a tree and meets Jason. He forever changes her life by showing her how to truly live and showing her what real love is like. Emotionally gripping story!

I laughed, I balled and I awed. This book was lovely. The reason I gave three stars is because I do not like the way it ends. A great ending makes the book for me. However if your a fan of a great romantic emotional read this is the book for you!

It seems like there is a formula to all, especially young adult, romance novels. This one definitely strayed out of romance normalcy. I laughed and cried. There was depth to the characters that had me flipping the pages quick. I couldn't put it down! I'm excited to check out the author's other work!
