Overview

What does a man do when his wife dies? Of course he goes to visit friends for comfort. However, one of his friends starts him on a path that leads him to an Indian reservation in Arizona. Death, mayhem, and magic swirl around him.
Circumstances then get him involved with an organization that uses him to divert attention from what they are doing. Unfortunately the top man's daughters find him attractive and decide to keep him.
"I see several problems, Sir. First, I think that some of our unsavory friends may overlap. Second, you're right, I'm not in control of the girls. Third, I didn't ask for this situation and must try to make the best of it. Fourth, ...? Fifth, do I want to or will I survive this situation?"
Soon another situation with further reaching consequences taps him on the shoulder.

Meet the Author

I've loved westerns and science fiction since I picked up my first book at the public library. I've been writing on my computer for years. I never planned on any of my stories being published, just to be read by myself, family, and friends. The base journal is on forty spreadsheets with links to about a thousand files of short one day paragraphs plus other stories. A relative suggested that I aim for a wider audience. If you like my musings, comment on them.

This was an intriguing book BUT very difficult to read. It needs some VERY serious editing. The book had very little actual dialogue. It was more of a narrative with a lot of he said, she said. Many times the wrong words were used such as TO instead of TOO, LOOSE instead of LOSE, etc. But the premise of the book was good enough to keep me reading it to the end. Another rather strange thing was that about 3/4 of the way into the book it was revealed that the events taking place were in the mid 1990s. There was really no need for that as the events were very relevent to current events. Especially the Arizona/Mexico border issues. Bottom line ... a potenially great book that I wouldn't recommend without a LOT of SERIOUS editing!
