    Great Resource - Easy to Read & To the Point

    I have been so overwhelmed by some of the books I've been given during my pregnancy. This is a brief, handy resource that is really grounded in research and science that is easy to read and understand. I love it!

    There is an additional book that pairs well with this one: Baby Bargains (by Denise & Alan Fields). Both are relatively inexpensive.

    So Helpful!

    We loved Baby 411 - neither my husband nor I had had any experience with newborns, and this was a comforting and helpful book to turn to when our oldest child was born. We still refer to it for our second child, too! The advice is simply put, and helpfully arranged. It was so helpful to us, we give it as gifts to everyone we know having their first baby!

    Must have for new parents

    If you are a new parent, you NEED this book. This is the most comprehensive, easy-to-use reference guide for everything -- from sleeping and eating (both formula and breastfeeding) to vaccinations, choosing a pediatrician, everything. A great index helps you quickly find the section that addresses the questions that arise along the way. I also recommend (see below) the Baby Bargains book. Perfect for expecting parents... We borrowed one and went out and bought the newer version for the latest info.
