Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
In this board book an exuberant little girl in her red sleeper slips out of her crib and heads outside, where she is watched over by a host of baby angels. According to the cover, the simple prayer about guardian angels is the author's reassuring gift to every parent. An American Bookseller Pick of the Lists, the board-book version works as well, if not better, than the larger edition.
School Library Journal - School Library Journal
PreS-A pretty book about an adventurous toddler who climbs out of the crib and goes out the door and into the yard. Baby angels follow and alert the parents, who then catch the child in their arms. Each double-page spread has a simple, rhyming sentence telling the slight story from the child's point of view. The illustrations, done in pastels, show round, soft, huggable baby angels with expressive faces. Even the face of the toy lamb the toddler clutches changes to convey worry and pleasure. A sweet addition.-Martha Gordon, formerly at South Salem Library, NY
Lauren Peterson
From the moment baby opens her eyes, baby angels, clad in diapers, act as her guardians. They are her safety net as she climbs out of her crib, and they follow her as she toddles silently, unseen, past her unsuspecting parents and out the door. Both text and art are sweet and gentle, yet they exude the boundless energy of a curious toddler. Rendered in soft pastel chalks, the nursery and backyard scenes have lots of charming details, and the multicultural characteristics of the baby angels serve as a reminder of our diverse society. A good example of quality literature for the very young, this book will find ready acceptance in libraries offering story times for babies and toddlers.

You are loved, loved, loved!'" Jane Cowen-Fletcher lives in South Berwick, Maine.

A great and inspirational book about the closeness of babies and angels.

I bought this book before I was even pregnant because it was so beautiful. My 14 month old daughter picks this book out of all of her many books and loves to have it read to her or she just looks at the pictures. She calls angels 'Doo-doos'. I think she really believes there are baby angels watching over her as when she gets hurt, she says 'Doo-doos'.

Every time we read this book at our house our kids smile from ear to ear. They like the angels protecting that adorable baby girl. They notice everything from the wall paper to the fact that the more mischief the baby gets into the more angels rush to her side. An absolute must have if you have children. The perfect baby shower gift!!!!!!!

My son, now 15 months old, has been bringing this book to me to read to him ever since he could pick up his books. He loves the pictures and the rhymes. I love to read it to him, too. The first time I opened the book and read through it, it brought tears to my eyes. A 'must have.'
