Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
This book is part of the "Indestructibles" series. These are books that are chew proof, rip proof, non-toxic and 100% washable. The purpose is to introduce young ones to objects in their world. A toddler is seated on a red checkered picnic cloth and the items depicted are named—cheese, bowl, banana, apple, etc. Each scene/spread follows the same format. A young baby is playing with a number of toys and they are all named—ball, teddy bear, blocks etc. in the next scene there is no baby, but there is a road scene along the beach or Lake. There is a truck, car, airplane, boat and motorcycle. The yard outside the house is the next venue followed by baby's room, which includes some clothing, furniture and the stuffed bunny rabbit that has appeared in a few scenes. It is a little picture dictionary that has some appeal. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot

    Cute!
We have Baby Faces at home and I bought this book for Grandma's house. The book goes right into his mouth and gives baby something to "read" while we are reading the paper or a magazine. It truly is washable and stands up to the basic baby wear and tear. The illustrations are cute and this will be a stable gift I give for future baby showers.
