I have to agree with the other reviewer. This is an badly written book. The premise is sound, but it truly awful the way it's written. Its not fluid, its not written remotely in a good romantic sense. Its basically you're the boss of me, and I'll do and forgive over and over again. You're the man, and don't have to do much at all. BLECH.

The synopsis was good the actual book was Bad with a capital 'B'. Book began without any back-story no gentle introduction, no tease as to how it would unfold. Straight from the bat, literally on the 1st page the two main characters start off as if we're reading the 8th chapter not 1st. I hoped it would improve, it didn't. I felt like it didn't have sufficient emotional strength to work as a book, perhaps more like a short story...no chemistry, they NEVER had actual SEX as in two people joining together. There were scenes of mutual pleasure but not actual 'love making'. Their whole relationship fails to spark passion in the reader, the need to know what will happen in the end. Book never really 'climaxed'! You felt like you walked in on a really cheesy soap opera scene not a love story...and what's with the compromise as far as the CEO position?! Isn't it a rule that the hero has to sacrifice something to win the love?! It's like the law of romance which he failed to obey. I was highly disappointed...expected more. I guess the standards have dropped a little in the 'Desire' department.
