    Incorrect information

    I purchased this book thinking that since ONE of the authors was a pediatrician that I would be reading accurate, up to date information. Although some of his answers are medically sound, the fundamentals of baby care that he proposes are in direct contradiction to what the AAP recommends. He does not advocate demand feedings, promotes stomach sleeping, giving solids before 4 months, and instructs parents to put their infants on schedules. Luckily I had read several other books as well as consulted my pediatrician, so I was able to make well informed decisions. Don't waste your time or your money purchasing this book.

    Not what I expected

    I recieved this book as a baby shower gift from my well-meaning mother, however I found that most of the 365 Q & A's were common-sense and not very informative. In addition, his opinions were many times in contradiction to other, more popular baby books such as 'What to Expect the First Year' Had I gone to the bookstore with my mom, this is one book I wouldn't have chosen.

    Incorrect information

    The book is helpful, but there is a problem. Point #76 suggests to put a baby to sleep on his stomach. There is a campaign to get babies 'Back to Sleep' in the prevention of SIDS. This may confuse parents.

    A Must Have Book For Parents!!

    Dr. Buddy Zukow's book is very easy and lighthearted but also extremely detailed and has over 30yrs of experience behind it. This book was my bible when my son was born and a great reference when my daughter was born almost 3 yrs later. A great gift for the new parent and a great reference for any library.
