Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
On the back and on the plastic covering of this bath book parents and caregivers are given advice about satisfying the curiosity that is a natural part of a baby's life. There are ideas to expand on the learning experiences in this book, which recommends looking at things in baby's world. While real lions don't float other things do. For example, take a washcloth and let it float in the tub or take a plastic bottle and then show what happens when it fills with water. When you get baby ready for a warm bath, this book will be just the thing to pop into the tub—it floats. Part of the "Baby Einstein" series. 2003, Hyperion/Disney, Ages 3 mo. to 3.

    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

    Great for Infants

My son has 3 of the Baby Einstein Bath Books (vinyl), and he loves all of them. I've been reading them to him since he was born. He's now 10 1/2 months old, and now brings me the books to read to him. He could play and chew on the books early, and now he loves looking at the colorful pictures. He roars at the lion on every page! I would highly recommend this series of books for any small child. (My son's favorites of the series are Water, Water Everywhere and Mimi's Toes.)

Great way to expose young babies to science

I think this book is a great, simple way to get babies and toddlers thinking about aspects of science and logical thought.
