I must say after having my baby I wasn't in the mood to exercise without feeling guilty about leaving her for such a self-indulgent activity. When my mother gave me this book, I thumbed through it and saw what looked like some fun play activites to do with my three-month old baby. I tried some of them out and got such a good response from her, that I really started using the book. I also experienced post-partum depression and the time that I spent meditating with my baby also helped me forget the sadness. I am not an experience yoggie, but had done some yoga in the past. This book was easy to follow and once I got the poses down, then the concentration and bonding between my baby and I began to flourish.
