Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
AGERANGE: Ages 6 mo. to 2.

Baby is attached to this cloth book by a bright red ribbon. Each page has a place to slip baby in to complete the scene. First baby is in bed and it is time to wake up and sit in the high chair for breakfast. Then it is time to play, and hide-and-seek is always a favorite. One this page the fabric makes a crinkling sound when it is touched. Next it is the swing, and then a bath followed by baby being wrapped in a soft, warm, blue towel. Now its is time for a story and a return to bed, but this time the stars and moon shine brightly in the sky as we all say "Good night, baby." The soft book should be lots of fun for baby and caregivers. There are many colorful patterns which will offer an opportunity to engage in more conversation about what is on each page and thus extend the life of the book. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
