I've been teaching for 22 years and have read hundreds of books about finance and economics. Only within the last year or so, have I read what seems to be a new breed of books that have rejuvenated my excitement about teaching the art of economics and finance. Back On Track... is one of those books, (The other 2 are in the related titles below.) This book is excellent for the novice on finance and progresses to the upper echelon without the graphs and equations that confuse the readers. The chapters are quick and exact. Green goes right for the throat without dragging his feet to get to his point. His ideas are, as my students would put it, 'In your face!' I recommend it.

I heard Andrew Green speak here in Las Vegas 2 years ago. He completely dominated the conversation and had my fellow musicians in awe. We couldn't believe we had all blown so much money in our lives and would all have been much wealthier today if we had the financial direction that Andy was giving. I bought his book as soon as it came out and am now applying what is in it to my life. I knew nothing about money except how to earn it, and how to spend it. The book made me ask myself questions that I never thought of. Like, where was I going to be financially when I'm 65 years old? I never cared until this book slapped me in the face with reality. How many 60 year old drummers do I know? None! I'm glad I had the fortune of reading this book before it's too late and my money making days are over. I can still party hard while my money works for me instead of me working for my money. Thanks Andy.
