T.A. Webb is the writing name for the Big Old Bear That Could (credit to Thomas the Train!). During the day, I'm the Director of Finance for a non-profit agency in Atlanta providing assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS. At home, I'm proudly partnered to fellow writer Talon PS, and the proud daddy to four rescue dogs. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and in my spare time am a pretty darn good country cook.
I stumbled on male erotic fiction and romance about two years ago when a search on my Kindle for “gay cowboys” brought up a plethora of fun. The rest, as they say, is history.
In November 2011, I started “A Bear on Books”, a blog dedicated to reviews of books from the M/M genre that touched me in some way. My goal is to highlight the wonderful writers and stories in the genre in a positive and supportive manner. For more information on my blog, please visit tom-webb.blogspot.com.
After making friends with some of the crazy fun people in the genre, I was bullied into trying my hand at writing by renowned authors Amy Lane and Mary Calmes. They pushed me to submit the result, and my novel "Second Chances" will be published in November 2012 by Dreamspinner Press. Also check out my collaboration with Laura Harner, "Deep Blues Goodbye" in August of 2012, from Hot Corner Press.
