Inspired by the Beatles' days playing in Hamburg and the '90s movie of the same name, Backbeat tells the story of their rise -- as well as the love triangle between drummer Stuart Sutcliffe, photographer Astrid Kirchnerr, and John Lennon -- through a mix of songs that would have been in the band's set lists at the time.
