    Exactly what I was needed!

A comprehensive and detailed guide on how to repair and care for your outdoor equipment, this book is a must-have for anyone who hikes or camps a lot. I have not found any other book on this subject, most are about what to buy, with only a small section on how to fix it, and/or have no pictures.
The author has lots of clear photos of real gear failures, and how she fixed them, as well as advice on when to not bother, and preventative maintenance.
The book is separated into several useful sections covering tents, clothing, stoves, boots, etc.
I've already repaired some of my own gear with the help of this book, and I am sure I will be referencing it for years to come, and lending out the book (and my new-found skills) to my friends.
