It was a good written book, and it tell the truth about what all happened.

I thought this book had good insight into the early career of the Backstreet Boys, as well as AJ (Alex) McLean. I found a bunch of spelling errors and stuff like that, which I found a little distracting. Overall, for any Backstreet Boys fan, this book is a must have. It was different than I expected though. Most of the book centers around the Boys' early career and not about AJ's addiction.

This book was a very good look into the lives of A.J. and his mother. I definitely give this touching story 5 stars!

The book is riddled with self serving anecdotes that merely serve to make the author out to be mother of the year! She constantly refers to her psychic that she consults for every decision and drama....basically nothing is her fault and everyone and everything led to her son and her problems. Quick Read....Petty Writing.

I absolutely loved this book. Alex McLean is one of my favorite singers...The whole time I read this book, I had a box of Kleenex sitting beside me. If you really want to find out about the music world and what alot of singers go through then I would suggest you read this book.
