This book is eye-catching and captivating. The beautiful drawings lure children into the animal life world that exists right in their own backyards. It's a nature study, a life-science primer course, and a beautiful field guide. This book is perfect as part of a homeschool science course for kids. I cannot wait to purchase the rest in the series.
