Bad in Baltimore, Book 2

After Eli Wright came out, his parents threw him out. In the five years since, he's made his own way, lived by his own rules, determined to never change himself-not for anyone. He's not against finding Mr. Right, but Mr. Right Now will do just fine.

Quinn Maloney's reward for ten years of faithfully keeping his closeted boyfriend's secrets? A hell of a wake-up call to go with his morning coffee. Not only did Peter have affairs, he went straight to marry his pregnant girlfriend-and Quinn was to never reveal their history.

With the baby's baptism looming and Quinn expected to put on a polite front, he decides he's had enough of playing the peacekeeper. One wink from a much younger, eyeliner-wearing guy in a bar, and Quinn's found a perfectly outrageous date for the occasion.

The date goes better than he ever imagined. And so much worse, as Eli convinces everyone they're madly in love. That wasn't part of the plan, but the more Quinn learns about the man behind the makeup, the more he wishes it was true.

Warning: Contains an absolute bastard of an ex-boyfriend. Not responsible for sudden uncontrollable urges to punch him in the teeth. Also not responsible for any overheating or sudden urges brought about by explicit sex with a little BDSM thrown in.

Meet the Author

K.A. Mitchell discovered the magic of writing at an early age when she learned that a carefully crayoned note of apology sent to the kitchen in a toy truck would earn her a reprieve from banishment to her room. Around the same time, she decided that Chip and Ken made a much cuter couple than Ken and Barbie and was perplexed when invitations to play Barbie dropped off. An unnamed number of years later, she’s happy to find other readers and writers who like to play in her world.

K.A. Mitchell just can't write a bad book. Having read her entire backlist, bad boyfriend easily makes it into the top 3 for me. If you are new to her, you might want to start with bad company as we meet eli there. Quinn is one of favorite heroes & i adore this may- december pairing. This is by far her kinkiest book-- if you like your smexy reading a little more vanilla, bad company and diving in deep and custom ride really show off her red hot characters w/o the bdsm.

This is one of Mitchell's hottest books that I have had the privilege of reading! I loved the little bit of bdsm she threw in. I was more happy than anything that Eli found a guy who would see what a catch he is! Definitely one of my faves from her!

Reviewed by Christina Marie at The Morning After Romance: Hilarious, sweet, and beyond hot! I have to say I was really excited and nervous all at the same time to read Eli's story. I was not disappointed. I loved Quinn, he was all hot and vulnerable. A bit of an idiot at first but he saw the light (that is Eli) eventually. And Eli. Ah, I love him. He is adorable, but don't let that fool you because he is strong, and pretty much awesome. He stands up for himself, can take care of himself, and he's funny. The things that came out of his mouth were great, had me laughing so hard. He's cheeky. Although, he does have his baggage and he can be a bit obtuse at times. But this is why I love K.A. Mitchell. Her ability to deliver flawed, well-developed characters that grow and learn from their mistakes is amazing. They are fascinating, so realistic, and human. It's refreshing. I loved this one. Together Quinn and Eli are sweet, sexy, kinky, and just amazing. This book was hilarious, romantic, and beyond hot. 4.5 Stars

2nd book in the series - I highly suggest reading the first (Bad Company). These might be my favorite MC's. The differences between them make them so much fun to read about and the sex is hot, hot, hot!

The dialogue between Eli and anyone he's talking with is soooo perfect. The words Ms. Mitchell chooses are so realistic that I can actually hear my gay friend speaking them! So well done!!!! A book worth reading.

Absolutely sexy. Very kinky, very nice. I love that Mitchell has a good story surrounding the sex. I'd definitely recommend it to someone. Oh wait, already did!

I am totally in love with Eli! He is so quick with the sarcasm that he can put you in your place before you even realize it. Not to mention that he is funny as hell. I loved the drama and passion of this story, but most of all I loved the sarcastic humor. Lots of smoking hot sex as well. I definitely recommend you read this book. It's awesome and worth the money!

You don't have to have read "Bad Company" before you read this but several of the characters show up again, so I'm glad I had read it first. Eli finally finds the right man and it was fun to see him settle down and fall in love.
