Bad Christian contained the author's usual brilliant humor, a description of images that made them seem so real (I could almost smell the mentioned apples) and valuable scripture references that supported each scenario. However, what I enjoyed most was how this book really spoke to me. I have recently experienced some circumstances in my life that have caused me to question my value and purpose for this life. Bad Christian reminded me that God has a plan and I just need to trust that it will be revealed to me when the timing is right. The book brought me a lot of comfort and for that I am very grateful!!! In bad Christian, the author presents a charming series of short stories about characters in everyday life situations. Each story is told from a Christian point of view. Don’t let the conciseness of the chapters lull you into thinking this is light fluff. Each story is filled with uncommon wisdom, love and compassion, and humor. You will see yourself in many of these situations and realize the hand of God is and always has been at work in your life. bad Christian is perfect for reading in small bites, a couple of stories at a time, but be warned, once you have started, it will be hard to put it down. Whether you are an experienced Christian or one who does not read “religious” books, bad Christian is for you. More than just chicken soup, bad Christian is truly comfort food for the soul.
