Some books are meant to be read over and over again. To be cherished like old friends. Dog-eared and loved. This is one of those books.
I know when I open a book by K.A. Mitchell, I'm going to be transported, not to a far off place filled with magical creatures and lore, but to what feels like my life. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Ms. Mitchell drew me in with vivid details, spicy scenes, and characters that stole my heart. I get to step into a world much like my own with people I can relate to.
Kellan and Nate aren't perfect, I have to state that up front. The guys have some serious issues, but it's in the details and how these two men deal with things that I couldn't tear myself away from. The opening of the book is...a little tense and a little far-fetched, but don't let that stop you from reading. It's because the scenario between Kellan and Nate seems a bit off that it's actually more believable. People come up with wacky ideas in the heat of the moment and Ms. Mitchell captures the feelings perfectly.
The struggle between Kellan and Nate is epic and realistic. I so wanted these two to get together and have their HEA right now. I mean, right now. Forget the drama and the craziness, but then again, there wouldn't be a book or realism if there wasn't some craziness. I laughed, I cried, I didn't want to let go of either man.
Yeah, I liked it that much.
If you want a book filled with heat, heart, and drama, you need to read Bad Company, but prepare for the song to get stuck in your head. It's a minor price to pay for a great story.

These two guys were meant for each other. They are brought together in a very realistic and emotional way. It is a book that you will want to read more than once!!
