    This one was okay...

    I liked how Tender got her life together and made peace with her mom. I also liked how Q made a name for himself and didn't carry out killing Nicey. I just didn't like the ending; Tender ends up being "a rapper's baby mama".

    OMG!!!!!

    It honestly loked like by the reviews I have seen by this author neds soe help. I thought tyat he was a good author but I guess not. He desperarly needs some help or attention. I ONLY put four stars so that people can look at my argument........ but dont stop there Im just saying if you know him or anything tell him your suggestions Im TOOOOOOO young to share my suggestions I ve never read any of his books (i hope tyey are good) but by thw looks the comments its not. If you bdont like the book DONT buy it. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS BOOK TO ANYONE RIGHT??????? But i mean if you dont like it dont get it I rather you read a Langston Hughs book its good trust me. Well thats all I have to say thanks for reading..

    Very Boring

    Oh my Gosh this book was soooo Boring. I needed something to read at work because I work 12hr shifts at night and this book did not help me at all! He jumped around too much and kept dragging things out that really didnt matter like he was trying to fill in paper! I couldnt even finish! Dont waste your money !!! TRUST

    I could have kept my money!

    i read shannon holmes bad girls and that book was the bomb. thats why i bought this one and i was very disappointed. everything just seem so easy for tender. yeah she had a few struggles but none that seemed to be real. it took me 3 months to finish this book and i was just turned off.

    Awesome!

    This novel really illustrates not just the struggle of African American women but women in general. Its schemes and plots were unpredictable. I definetly can't wait to read more Shannon Holmes' books.
