Dru's Book Musings - Dru Ann Love
It's Christmas and Jeff is spending the day with Maggie's family, who are not very welcoming, and we watch as the concern mounts in Jeff's mind that something is amiss. This was a great short story as the anticipation and nervousness of what is going to happen kept me glued to the pages. The author's words take you into the scene and throughout the story you definitely feel what Jeff is feeling.

    This short was a disappointment

    This short was a bit of a disappointment. It just stopped without a conclusion. I really enjoy Maggie and Jeff's romance and adventures in L L Bartlett's Jeff Risneck mystery series and was hoping for a light hearted Christmas comedy. After some of the stuff this couple has been through, I was hoping they could have some holiday fun, instead they faced hate, prejudices and contempt and broke up, even though Jeff saved the day. This is the first Bartlett book, I have not really liked.

    Crap!

    I have enjoyed most of this series, but this one was a complrte waste of time & money...the story ends without being finished...what a waste!
