    Not bad

The story was actually pretty good, but the dialogue was a little on the cheesy side.

    Good and free!

Stats: 520-ish nook pages. Free!!! Urban vampire romance. A member of a mercenary vamp killing team falls for a vampire. I liked it, although it got a little mushy and overly sweet at the end. I loved the idea of using "bait" to lure a vampire, but that idea ends with this book. I won't buy the next in the series.

Solid Book- Not Sure I'll read more though

I read this book in about 4 hours. It's a decent length and an entertaining read. I really liked all of the characters and though the setting was a bit nondescript considering it made Budapest feel like any city in any country, the interesting plot and sassy dialogue definitely kept my attention. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that it is only book 1 in the series and I'm always game for a paranormal romance series so I should have been hooked wanting more but I'm not. Despite liking the book- the ending was kinda blah and I'm not loving the characters like I did throughout most of the book. The ending felt really cheesy to me- the fun banter disappeared into cliched romance novel tropes and I got bored. I might occasionally skim through a paragraph hear or there but I shouldn't want to skim through the ending.

    Nice story....

I really like the action scenes, but my only thought is, the author should have better character development/background and organization in the beginning since this is the 1st book. It would give the lead character a more real story. Overall, it kept my attn and was a good read on a rainy day.
