What an entertaining way to teach Bible geography to children and adolescents. This book identifies dozens of locations in the Old and New Testaments and helps provide a meaningful context for readers. The Bible passage for each destination is listed, along with the travelers that went there, the date of their journey, what they took and the reason for their visit. An excellent feature is the "Then and Now" section that tells readers what the city or place was like in Biblical times and what travelers will find there today. This book would be an asset for religious education classes for middle school and high school students. The map illustrations are helpful, but the illustrations of people leave a bit to be desired.
