One one the best tools a defender of the Christian faith could use

This book is outstanding. From topics such as evolution or Islam, to people such as Thomas Aquinas or Fredrick Nietzche, this book will most likely have what you are looking for. I can't express how useful this has been in my own life of Christian apologetics. The only thing that surpasses it is [the new] Norman Geisler Apologetics Library on CD-ROM. If you consider yourself a defender of the faith, you will be awfully thankful to have this tool.

Outstanding Work No Christian Thinker Should Be Without

Just about every kind of objection made against the Christian faith is discussed and adequately answered in this encyclopedia of apologetics. Yet it is written in a clear, readable style. It summarizes information from more than forty books and countless schorarly articles Dr Geisler has written throughout his career. There simply is no other book to compare with it. If you want just one book in the field that says it all, this is your book. It's well worth the price.

    The culmination of Geisler's Career

Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics is excellent for anyone who is searching for just the right Christian apologetic. Geisler cites his sources (often unwitting opponents to Christianity) and is able to draw well thought out conclusions based on the evidence presented while not taking said evidence out of context. A must for Christians who are zealous to defend the faith. Helpful to new Christians in areas of confusion or misunderstanding. Very helpful for providing evidence to skeptics.

Excellent Overall Introduction to This Topic

This book provides a solid, but broad-based, introduction to apologetics. If it does not answer your question, it provides a source where the answer can be found. Readers will come across things that they probably had never thought of.
