Move Over, Tom Clancy. "Ballistic" is a 20-Metaton Hit

If you've read Levine's often hilarious legal thrillers, you'll wonder what the heck is going on. This is a heart-racing military thriller with shades of Tom Clancy, Stephen Coonts, and Dan Brown. (Only better written). Okay, I stole that line from Kindle Nation Daily where the editor wrote: "Are you ready for something new? Imagine Paul Levine channeling Tom Clancy, but with a sense of humor and far, far better writing." It's a new direction for Levine. His first e-book original after a dozen or so novels. A scary but real religious zealot villain. A down-and-out hero (a sergeant who cleans the missile silo sump) and a savvy female Air Force shrink. It's a good ensemble, and the military details ring true. I'm hoping Levine does more of these, but please: don't stop writing Jake Lassiter novels!
