Baltimore Blocks are beautiful but you need patience to do them.

Baltimore Blocks are beautiful but you need patience to do them. The whole book is devoted to making one block. Steps are laid out and easy to follow. Once you master this block, you can do any other with ease.

Tips for sewing those inside and outside points, where to start sewing your applique, clipping curves, transferring the pattern, cutting the appliques and even the easiest way to thread a needle are provided in this book. There are even two ways shown to make 3-D flowers.

The block pattern is divided into four sections which you will need to tape together to create the actual block. There are extra sections which you can substitute to create different looks, thus creating a variety of blocks.

There is a glossary of applique turns just before the author’s bio on the last page in the book.
