USA Today Bestselling Series!
First four novels in the bestselling Barbara Marr Murder Mystery Series: Take the Monkeys and Run, Citizen Insane, Silenced by the Yams, and Saturday Night Cleaver. Enjoy the hilarious antics of danger-prone soccer mom, Barbara Marr from the first time she finds monkeys swinging in the trees of her not-so-quiet suburban town of Rustic Woods.

In TAKE THE MONKEYS AND RUN, Barb discovers monkeys in her trees and a grisly crime scene in her neighbor's basement. When she and her friends engage in some innocent sleuthing, they stumble upon way more than they bargained for and uncover a piece of neighborhood history that certain people would kill to keep on the cutting room floor.

In CITIZEN INSANE, if you think PTA meetings are boring, then you haven't attended one in Barbara Marr's neighborhood, where MURDER is on the agenda. Always one to stumble into trouble, Barb learns the hard way that a seemingly innocent yearbook scandal is actually part of a more sinister and deadly plot.

In SILENCED BY THE YAMS, Barb attends her first movie review screening and film director Kurt Baugh dies within twenty minutes of meeting her. If that isn’t bad enough, her friend, ex-Mafioso, Frankie Romano, is arrested for the murder.

In SATURDAY NIGHT CLEAVER, Poor Barb leans that she just can't stay out of trouble. But this time she has a good reason: family friend Colt Baron has gone missing. When she and her ex-FBI husband, Howard, begin following clues in a search for their treasured pal, they find themselves crashing a rather racy sort of party – a soiree for swinging couples.

Looking for some big laughs? Need some serious giggle in your day? Look no further. Barbara Marr is here!

Easy read. Some funny stuff. Like others, the first one is better than the sequels. Got it for 99 cents, so it was well worth it.

These mysteries are ok, and I will finish the collection, but not great. Barbara Marr is not as funny or adictive as Stephanie Plum.

No they don't duke it out in this series but Barb Marr is what Step Plum should be in a few years. Married, settled down and with a couple kids. Only kidding. But If you enjoy Step Plum mysteries you will enjoy Barb Marr mysteries. And for those who do not know who Step Plum is -- well you really enjoy Barb Marr.

Reading all of them - became weary. Read one and then read something serious is the way to go. Was a needed spot of laughter.

These books treat crimes the way the old Disney monies did. Even the mafia goons have big hearts. If you want a lighthearted crime story with humor, these are the books for you. I enjoyed them.
