I really enjoyed the writtings of this author. Being 75 and full of arthritis my wishes to be able to do some hiking is fulfilled by these youn ladies. I can picture their travels and feel I am apart of them. Great job

These two women, not only thru hike the Appalachian Trail, but they turn around and walk back home to Maine. Written in a form that would not let me put the book down.

I was a huge fan of the authors first book, and had eagerly looked forward to reading her next book. The subject matter is what really drew me into the first book, her description of the AT trail and the flora & fauna kept me spell bound. This current book however was less about the AT and more about relationships. And much of the activity took place off of the trail, which I just found lacked the spirit of the intent of a thru-hike. Still, it was a fun read and I enjoyed it!

The book was wonderful but I wish there had been more details about the trail.

I expected more details about the trail

Second book rambles slightly more than the first book but both are entertaining and tie in some good information regarding the Appalachian Trail.
