We all have a choice as to how we live our lives. This powerful, impacting book is fascinating and thought-provoking! It is a journey into an area we all ponder over. James revisits the scene of a haunting near fatal skid he had on the trip back to Oregon with his daughter, after his ex-wife's death. He falls asleep, and enters into a series of experiences that seem to be somewhere between reality and a dream, where he and Linda get to heal and move on ...even though it is 3 1/2 years AFTER her death. Love is unconditional and continues beyond losing our physical bodies. WONDERFUL, HEARTWARMING READ!!!!!

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book in May as part of a reading circle through The Satya Center in Ogden, UT. Normally I read one or two chapters a night, but this book was so intriguing and interesting that I couldn't put it down. I devoured it in two days! It was a journey into an area we all wonder about. It may answer some questions and provoke thoughts that open up the mind to the possibility of communicating with our loved ones who've passed on. I finished the book with a sense of peace in my soul. Great Book!

I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book through a gathering circle. We also had a Skype video call with James. He is such an authentic person. James is a wonderful story-teller, I felt as if I was on the journey with him. There are a wide range of emotions described throughout the book, including a sense of wonderment and peace. What is your lesson to learn in this lifetime? The Barn Dance will definitely have you thinking about that at the end of the book.

This book was sent as a gift to a friend whose 48 yr. old son died after a short, brave fight with an aggressive cancer. The belief that our loved ones are always near gives us courage to face the lonely hours and days following such a tragic loss.

I read this moving book and have been thinking about it for three weeks. I ordered it for a friend of mine who is grieving so deeply that she's hardly moved forward for three years. I'm hoping this book will help her with closure. That said, I kept thinking this book reminded me of another and it came to me in a flash. I realized it was very Dickensian. In order to not give anything away, I'll state there are parallels and similarities to one of his classics. It's hardly plagerism--simply cut from the same cloth. I hope you find some measure of healing within the pages of this book.
