The technical brilliance of these artists is a genuine treat for Baroque lovers. And for individuals who have never heard Baroque music or those that have no particular love for it - be prepared to become a fan of this genre. There are moments in this recording when you will be certain that the long dead composers of this music are smiling down on this exceptional recording. You will be looking forward to Battle and Marsalis pairing up again! Brava!!!
