Don’t miss out on this unique and fascinating fantasy. The tortured hero is ordered to kill his murdered king’s nephews, instead of finding his beloved king’s murderer. The world building is fabulous, the characters well drawn, and the plot keeps the pages turning.

694 nook pages. Excellent story of a man who will go to great lengths to avenge a murdered king. Plenty of action, sorcery, and court intrigue. Dont miss reading this one

Straight forward; not many surprising twists, just enough to keep it interesting; slight hint of romance.

I am really enjoying this series. This one is the beginning of the story so a prequile. I read this after Dun Lady Jess cause I didn't find it until after. It's ok. Doesn't mess anything up. Might have confused me if I'd read it first.
