    I got a 5 thanks to Barrons

I went through every question on every one of the six review exams in this review book, and felt confident going into the exam. In July I found out that I got a 5! Thanks Barrons!

    Teacher recommendation

This really is a superb test prep book. In the Chapters there are practice multiple choice and free response questions for each AP Stat topic. Then six full length model exams are provided. My class used the questions throughout the course - both spiraling topics and as test prep in the weeks before the exam. Based on student comments and released exams, the questions are slightly more challenging than what is found on the actual exam - which is fine preparation for the students. I highly recommend this to all AP Statistics teachers and their students.

    A reviewer

The chapter reviews really explain the concepts well, and the six practice exams are great. I'll know better after I take the exam in a couple weeks, but thanks to Barron's I really feel prepared.

    Just bad...

I bought this book to study for test in order to have a pre-requisite waived for a graduate program. I had taken two statistics courses as an undergraduate but the credits were too old to qualify for the waiver. So, while I'm not an expert on the subject, I know enough to spot blatant errors, especially in the early chapters. I am only through the second chapter and have already found two instances where the answers provided are wrong because the data used in the answer is different than that used in the question. Additionally, the overall narrative is imprecise which can make it difficult to follow. This combination has caused me to spend extra time in each section because when the answer key indicates my answer is incorrect, I have to verify the answer the book provides rather than being able to simply rely on the explanation. I wish I could provide an alternate recommendation but since my test is in a couple of days I will just have to make due with this poorly written waste of money and, more importantly, time.

    Not that great

The content of the book was okay, but the practice tests were not great at all. When I wanted to check my incorrect answers, the explanations were very vague and did not tell me much. I do not recommend this book at all.
