    The Trilogy of Bartimaeus

I have recently been reading The Trilogy of Bartimaeus. This trilogy is action packed and filled with interesting twists and turns. This story is about a fictional world of Britain run by magicians who have the ability to summon demons as slaves. This book is very intriguing and every new page contains a new twist that I never expected. These books give us a view of the nature of men and how we can choose our own fights and fight for our own rights; teaching us to never bend down to what we think is wrong, and to always fights for the greater good. I definitely recommend this book to other people in middle school or high school.

    Fantastic fantasy series!

The Bartimaeus Trilogy is a fantastic fantasy for young adults. I am constantly suprised that this series hasn't reached the same popularity as Percy Jackson or Harry Potter-- Jonathon Stroud is a much more profound and well rounded author. One of the things I love so much about this series is the way Stroud utilizes format to distinguish between his demon character (Bartimaeus) and his human counter parts. The footnotes are hilarious and definitely give this series a flare of its own. I recommend this series to young adults all the time and I have read it myself numerous times.
