This is a truly brilliant cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious as well. Plus the stories by Virginia make this cookbook a really fun read for all "foodies" and even "non-foodies".

After a moon creekkit wanted to prove he was as strong as me. He was more stubborn and had a cold heart like hawkfrost." AGAIN!" hawkfrost snarled. He had been training us but we were only four moons! Mother tried to stop him once but he threated to kill us before she got one word out to her sister lepordstar. So we trained and trained and trained. But hawkfrost wanted to apprentice me and send creekkit to be a medcat. So my mother saw if he sent me into battle i would be dead. One late night she told lepordstar and at a clan meeting she was going to visite her mother in windclan for a quater moon. Lepord star agreed to her going, and with tht her plan was in progress. She took me past windclan. "Moma where r we going?" I asked shivering frm the cool breeze leaf bare was only a couple moons away. She replied," away from ur father. I can only protect one kit not two" i was shoked. SHES GETING RID OF ME! we reached a small half shaped camp. "Tigerkit welcome to ur new clan... owlclan." No no no! I cant stay here! "go on tigerkit come meet my riend bluestrike hes bluestars kin." The bluish grey tom stood over me but he had a gental voice "welcome tigerkit... let me take u to the nursery my sister dappletail will raise u for moon till ur appreniceship" ok... mother left me to keep me away from hawkfrost but he just told everyone tht a fox stole me while we were heading bsck to riverclan... everyone bought it just not my father. Bluestrike came out of the wariors den....... to be continued in chaper three
